Normally, I am sooo behind the power curve when it comes to stuff for the boys' classes. But today, I am actually ahead. I just completed the Valentine's cards for their classes and I must say they turned out pretty darn well. Even the hubby thinks they are cool. I deserve a Mother of the Year Award (or at least a pat on the back for finishing something more than 10 seconds before putting Caleb on the bus)!
Last week, I was surfing some of my favorite blogs (because I had finished all the other important tasks in my life and was in no way procrastinating) and found this post over at Tip Junkie featuring this idea from another blog. I thought they were super cute and a good way to use some of the colorful paper I have sitting around here. So on my trip to Target last night, I picked up a few bags of suckers. The hubby is off being an automotive god at a friend's house and the boys are enjoying the warmth outside, so it was a perfect time for me to knock out the oh-so-fab cards.
Here are some pictures:
See, pretty cute and I am pretty proud of myself for being ahead of the curve (for once)....

Those are cute! Way to go being ahead of the game!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I bought kiddie valentine's to take to work and exchange. We are all hanging up little bags like back in the day. I told my coworkers, "I don't wanna grow up, I'm a Toys 'R' Us kid!"
ReplyDeleteThey came out great. I like how you printed them on a different color paper as well. Thanks for sharing a picture.
ReplyDeleteRegarding the snuggie post I couldn't help but LOL. I happen to own a similar version and am pretty sure I'm the only person on the planet who likes it. My family makes fun of me when they see me wearing it. They say I look like a munk or a jedi. My husband can't stand it either. Oh well.
